NDSCS forward Maggie Westing had a day of days on Monday afternoon at the Miles Community College Centra. Westling dominated the inside from start to finish scoring 41 points (18-28 FG, 0-1 3's, 5-8 FT) and grabbing 22 rebounds in a 81-70 victory during MCC's annual elementary school day in Miles City, MT. Westling got huge help from forward Ava Boyes as Boys scored 23 points (7-18 FG, 4-9 3's, 5-6 FT) and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Only 4 Wildcats scored in the game as Lolo Carlow added 11 points and Ezrah Baker had 6. The Wildcats led for the entirety of the contest except that there was one tie in the game. The Pioneers trailed 37-33 at the half but the Wildcats broke things open in the 3rd quarter as MCC went cold and outscored the Pioneers 27-11.
