Pioneers 58... Eastern Wyoming 50

Ebele Mbagwu (Freshman - Bakersfield, CA) and Matilda Sanz (Freshman - Madrid, Spain) each scored 14 points and the Pioneers outscored the Lancers 20-11 in the 3rd quarter enroute to a 58-50 win in the home opener for MCC. 

Mbagwu was 2-5 from the field and 10-14 from the free throw line while Sanz was 6-11 from the field, 1-3 from 3-point line, and 1-2 from the free throw line.  Laynee Elness (Freshman - Winifred, MT) added 10 points (2-14 FG, 1-10 3's, 5-12 FT) and 7 rebounds. Jai Bauman (Freshman - Big Sandy, MT) had 7 rebounds and 4 steals off the bench while Sanz also had 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. 

Madison Bush-Lewis and Lucy Devoy each had 10 points for the Lancers.
