Miles Community College rallied from a 49-44 halftime deficit by outscoring North Dakota State College of Science 52-33 in the 2nd half for a 96-82 win to open MonDak Conference play on Sunday afternoon in Miles City, Montana.

Azenio Cossa (6'2 Freshman - Maputo, Mozambique) scored 26 points (12-22 FG, 0-2 3's, 2-3 FT) and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead 4 Pioneers in double figures. Koak Kok (6'7 Sophomore - Ulan, South Sudan) chipped in with 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 FT) and 7 rebounds. Yohandry Ortiz (6'5 Freshman - Naples, FL) added 18 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3's, 3-3 FT) and Mack Page (6'5 Sophomore - Worland, WY) had 14 points (6-15 FG, 0-2 3's, 2-3 FT) and 5 rebounds. 

Mikkel Cintron (6'6 Sophomore - Caguas, Puerto Rico) led NDSCS with 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3's) and 6 rebounds and was joined by Jikany Deang (6'11 Freshman - St. Cloud, MN) with 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-7 3's, 1-2 FT) and 9 rebounds. Riley Wolf (6'3 Freshman - Springfield, MO) added 16 points (4-12 FG, 4-9 3's, 4-4 FT) and Nidas Paulauskas (6'3 Freshman, Kaunas, Lithuania) had 14 points (5-15 FG, 1-4 3's, 3-7 FT).
