Pioneers 3... Dakota College at Bottineau 0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-16)

The MCC Pioneers secured the #1 seed in West Region XIII Playoffs with a sweep of the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks on Wednesday night at the MCC Centra. 

With one regular season match remaining next Tuesday night against rival Dawson in Miles City, the Pioneer find themselves with a buy in to the Region XIII semifinal on November 1 in Wahpeton, ND. 

Offensively for the Pioneers, Zeason Schaffer (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) knocked down 14 kills and Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) had 29 assists. Mia Mader (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) and Mackenzie Deford (Freshman - Shields Valley, MT) each had 2 aces. 

Grace Gackle (Sophomore - Circle, MT) had 3 blocks and Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) had 25 digs. 

The Pioneers move to 14-10 overall and 6-3 in MonDak Conference play.
