Pioneers 3... Williston State 2 (21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-16, 15-5)

Coming off a tough 5-set loss to the Carroll College JV on Saturday, the MCC Pioneers hit the road to Williston, ND on Tuesday night. The road trip seemed to turn the tides a bit for the Pioneers as MCC rallied from a 2-1 deficit to domintate the Williston State College Tetons over games 4 and 5 to win 3-2 and move in to a tie for 2nd place in the MonDak Conference standings. 

Grace Gackle (Sophomore - Circle, MT) had a banner night leading the Pioneers in blocks (4) and kills (11). Angeline Riener (Freshman - Fort Benton, MT) helped out on the defensive side of the net with 4 blocks and Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) had 19 digs to go along with 4 service aces. 

Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) had 37 assists in the victory. 

MCC returns home Wednesday night and will host winless Dakota College at Bottineau at 7:00 PM MDT.
