Pioneer Volleyball Dominant in Win At Dakota College

Pioneers 3... Dakota College at Bottineau 0 (25-21, 25-15, 26-24)

One night after coming away with an impressive home victory over Williston State for the Pioneers 1st MonDak Conference win of the season, MCC made it back to back victories with a 3-0 road victory over Dakota College at Bottineau on Wednesday night. 

The victory over the Lumberjacks pushed the Pioneers record to 9-7 overall and 2-2 in MonDak Conference action and left Dakota College at Bottineau winless on the season (0-13).

Zeason Schaffer (Sophomore - Broadus, MT) put away 17 kills in the match while Taiya Guptill (Freshman - Hardin, MT) dished out 38 assists. Mia Mader (Sophomore - Broadus, MT), Savanah Newsom (Freshman - Great Falls, MT), and Cameron Blevins (Sophomore - Shelby, MT) each had 2 aces. 

Blevins came up with 28 digs and Grace Gackle (Sophomore - Circle, MT) had 3 blocks. 

The Pioneers will take a break from conference play and travel to Dickinson, ND for a non-conference game on Sunday at 1:00. They will travel to Glendive on Tuesday night at 6:00 to face Dawson.
