Pioneers 3... Rocky JV 0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-14)

The MCC Pioneer volleyball team avenged an early season loss at the hands of the Rocky Mountain College JV team with a resounding 3-0 win over the Bears on Sunday afternoon in Helena. 

The Pioneers dominated the Bears from the start and gave up only 41 points during the entire match. 

MCC was led offensively by Kodiann Lynn (Simms, MT) with 13 kills and Bailey Nowicki (Miles City, MT ) dished out 32 assists and also accounted for 4 aces. The Pioneers had 11 aces for the game against the Bears. 

Bree Swanson (Chinook, MT) had 12 digs and Lynn added a team high 4 blocks. 

Pioneers 3... Carroll College JV 0 (25-21, 25-17, 26-24)

MCC finished off a clean sweep of Sunday volleyball in the capital city with another convincing 3-0 win over the Carroll College JV. 

Bree Swanson had 24 digs for the Pioneers and collected her 1,000th dig of her career as a Pioneer. Zeason Schaffer (Broadus, MT) had 2 blocks defensively for MCC.

Kodiann Lynn had another strong game at the net with 14 kills and Bailey Nowicki had 41 assists. Cameron Blevins (Shelby, MT) had 2 service aces for the Pioneers. 

The Pioneers are now 12-14 on the season and will look to put a firm grip on 3rd place in the MonDak Conference when they host Williston State on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. The game is advertised as "Pack the Place in Pink" night to support breast cancer awareness.
