The MCC Pioneers took care of business in the last regular season match of the 2021-22 season with a sweep of rival Dawson CC. Dawson jumped out to an early lead in the first game but the Pioneers battled back to take a 25-20 win. Game 2 was a back and forth affair and the Pioneers held on 27-25 and followed that up with a dominating 25-12 win in game 3 for the sweep. 

The Pioneers were led at the net by Cassidy Acor (Havre, MT) as she had 8 kills and 8 blocks. Angela Youngs (Gillette, WY) helped out with 7 kills. Jacey Rowland (Weyburn, Saskatchewan) had 16 assists and 15 digs while fellow setter Mandi Tvedt (Glenrock, WY) chipped in with 12 assists. Chloe Cota (Roundup, MT) had 2 aces. Sam Oliver (Havre, MT) had 19 digs on the night. 

The Pioneers finished MonDak Conference play 8-4, good for 2nd place in Region XIII West. They will host 3rd seeded Williston State on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM MST. The Pioneers also finished 15-11 overall for the regular season.
