On a night when nothing seemed to go right for the Miles CC volleyball team, Dawson CC took full advantage and made quick work of the Pioneers with a 23-25, 20-25, 20-25 MonDak Conference win. The loss dropped the Pioneers to 5th place in the conference with a 2-2 league record and 8-9 overall. Dawson moved in to a tie for 2nd place and sits at 4-2 in league play. 

Cassidy Acor (Havre, MT) was the leader at the net for the Pioneers with 6 kills and 1 block. Jacey Rowland (Weyburn, Saskatchewan) contributed 12 assists and 3 aces. Mandi Tvedt (Glenrock, WY) also had 12 assists in the match while Olivia Cook (Belgrade, MT) had a block and Sam Oliver (Havre, MT) had 17 digs. 

The Pioneers will return home for 3 consecutive matches starting Friday night in a rescheduled match against Williston State and then Tuesday and Wednesday against NDSCS and Lake Region State College. All of those matches are set to begin at 7:00 PM.
