The MCC Pioneer Volleyball team took to the road Saturday in Casper, Wyoming for a full day of matches against NJCAA Division 1 powerhouses.

The Pioneers were swept in all 3 matches against Northeastern Junior College, Salt Lake Community College, and Casper College. 

The Pioneers fell to NJC in the first match of the day 27-25, 25-16, 25-16.

Salt Lake defeated the Pioneers 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

Casper beat MCC 25-18, 25-12, 25-13. 

The leaders for the Pioneers on the 3 match day were Celsa Castro (Roundup, MT) with 26 assists, Olivia Easton (Billings, MT) with 17 kills, Matilda Dietz (Manhattan, MT) 43 digs, and Kadyn Acor (Havre, MT)/Sydney Johnstone (Miles City, MT) with 8 blocks each. MCC first home match of 2021 will be Friday night at 7:00 PM as they host Dawson CC. They will travel to Glendive on Satuday as part of a back to back with the Buccaneers on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
