Miles City, MT - The Jacks of Dakota College at Bottineau traveled to Miles City on Thursday to take on the Pioneers. After a slow start for the Pioneers, they were able to put it all together in the middle of the first set and kept the momentum going in the second and third sets. The Pioneers defeated the Jacks, 3-0. The set scores were as follows: 25-17, 25-19, 25-14
The Pioneers had 28 total assists, led by Samantha Bonenberger with 12. Taylor Stahl had nine kills and Uluwehi Brooks was close behind with five of the team's 29 total kills. The Pioneers had 51 digs in the game, led by Taylor Stahl with 13. Amaya LaFranier, Hailee Kuske, Brooks, and Leah Aigner each had two blocks, while the team managed 10. Samantha Bonenberger had two aces to lead the team.
The Pioneers will travel to Williston, ND tomorrow to take on the Tetons at 7:00 pm.
