Pioneers 112... University of Providence JV 80
The MCC Pioneers scored a season high in points and put 6 players in double figures with a resounding 112-80 victory over the University of Providence JV on Saturday afternoon in Miles City.
Aguir Dawam (6'7 Sophomore) scored 27 points (11-14 FG, 2-2 3's, 3-3 FT) and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead a balanced Pioneer attach. Frontcourt mate Ethan Venema (6'7 Sophomore) added 16 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 FT) to go with a team high 14 rebounds and 2 blocks. Ethan Bell (6'0 Sophomore) scored 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3's, 1-1 FT) and dished out a team high 7 assists. Payton Kokot (6'3 Sophomore), Daniel Piech Meat (6'5 Sophomore), and Koak Kok (6'7 Freshman) all scored 10 points. Freshman guards Ryder Lee and Colton Hawkins each scored 8 points as all 12 players that suited up scored in the win. Kokot also dished out 6 assists.
The Pioneers led 56-40 at the half and the 2nd half saw the same scoring margin as the Pioneers outscored the Argos 56-40 in the 2nd half as well.
