The NDSCS Wildcats used a balanced scoring attack by placing 6 players in double figures and sent the MCC Pioneers home with their 6th consecutive loss in a 99-60 thumping in Wahpeton, ND on Monday night. The Wildcats broke open a close game late in the first half going on a 19-2 run in the final 3 minutes of the half for a 54-35 halftime lead.
Khari Broadway (6'3 Sophomore) 17 points and Connor Hollenbeck (6'6 Sophomore) 18 points led the balanced attackfor the Wildcats. Broadway (7-13 FG, 1-1 3's, 2-2 FT) and Hollenbeck (6-12 FG, 3-4 3's, 3-4 FT) were followed by Micah Swallow (6'3 Freshman) with 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3's, 4-4 FT), Logan Jedwabny (6'2 Sophomore) hit for 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-8 3's), Anthony Ignowski (6'3 Sophomore) chipped in 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3's, 2-2 FT), and RaShaun Parker (5'11 Freshman) had 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-8 3's). Parker Jones (6'8 Sophomore) had 11 rebounds to lead the Wildcats and Hollenbeck added 8.
The Pioneers were led by Ray Daniels (6'6 Freshman) with 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-3 3's), Tvon Jones (6'4 Freshman) with 9 points (4-13 FG, 1-6 3's, 0-2 FT), and Blessing Adesipe (6'6 Freshman) with 10 points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3's, 5-5 FT). Guard Eli Habighorst (6'1 Freshman) led the Pioneers in rebounding with 10.
