Miles Community College head basketball coach Chase Tait has announced the signing of Tyler JC transfer Blessing Adespie to the Pioneer program for the 2021-22 season. 

Adespie is a 6'6 forward from Alief Taylor High School in Houston where he averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals per game as a senior for the Lions and coach Jeff Dunford. He played the 2021 season at Tyler JC in Tyler, Texas before deciding to transfer to Miles CC. He will still have 2 years of eligibility for the Pioneers. 

Adespie on why he chose Miles: "I chose MCC because Coach Tait was one of the first people to believe in me and its a great place for me to grow my game and education."
