Favour Chukwukelu (Las Vegas, NV) scored 26 points to lead 5 Pioneers in double figures as Miles CC and United Tribes had 11 ties and 14 lead changes before the Pioneers pulled away late for a 99-88 MonDak Conference win in Miles City, MT. Chuwukelu (8-13 FG, 6-9 3's, 4-6 FT) added 15 rebounds and 3 assists while Remy Lemovou (Wichita, Kansas) had 18 points (9-16 FG) and 7 rebounds and the Pioneers moved to 10-8 in MonDak Conference play. 

Ben Datro (Montreal, Quebec) came off the bench to score 15 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3's, 4-6 FT) and dish out 5 assists while Dylan Hushaw (Las Vegas) had 15 points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3's, 8-10 FT) and added 9 rebounds, and Jakim Ricketts (Livingston, MT) had 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3's). The Pioneer shot 61% int he 2nd half (19-31 FG, 7-13 3's) to hold off the feisty T-Birds. MCC controlled the boards 48-33 and shot 19-26 FT compared to 10-15 for the T-Birds. 

Tyree Whitcomb (Browning, MT) scored 22 points (8-23 FG, 4-14 3's, 2-3 FT) for the T-Birds and Tate Bear (Tama, Iowa) added 21 (6-14, 4-9 3's, 5-7 FT). Dayson Kohlus (Eagle Butte, SD) came off the bench to score 15 points (4-8 FG, 4-5 3's) to help keep the T-Birds close. 

The Pioneers hit the road to Bismarck on Sunday for the rubber match vs. the Mystics sunday afternoon and 3:00 PM MST.
