Caleb Johnson (6'5 Freshman) scored a layup with 3.5 seconds left to lift Williston State to a 91-89 win over Miles CC on Wednesday night in Miles City. Johnson scored 19 points (9-14 FG, 1-2 3's, 0-1 FT) and had 9 rebounds as Williston built a 14 point lead with 10:52 remaining but watch Miles frantically rally to take a 87-86 lead late in the contest. Adreone Sprinkles (6'4 Freshman) then hit his only 3-pointer of the season at the shot clock buzzer with :30 to play to take a 89-87 lead. Pioneer Favour Chukwukelu tied the game at 89 with 2 FT's at the :15 mark before Johnson's game winning heroics. 

Williston State hit on 18-35 FG including 7-14 3's in the 2nd half after being tied 44-44 at halftime. The Tetons outrebounded MCC 43-36 and had 16 offensive rebounds. 5 Tetpns scored in double figures as Alonzo Linton (6'5 Sophomore) scored 18 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3's, 2-3 FT) and Trae Hugs (6'5 Freshman) came off the bench to score 17 (6-9 FG, 4-7 3's, 1-2 FT). Mabeny Naam (6'11 Freshman) had 12 points and 12 rebounds while Matt Dufner hit 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3's) off the bench as well. Williston State upped its record to 7-7 in MonDak play. 

Miles was led in scoring by Dylan Hushaw (6'1 Guard, Las Vegas) with 24 points (9-15 FG, 5-9 3's, 1-2 FT) to go along with 5 rebounds. Favour Chukwukelu (6'2 Guard, Las Vegas) had 23 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3's, 9-9 FT) and grabbed 6 rebounds with 5 assists. Remy Lemovou (6'8 Sophomore, Wichita, KS) had 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-3 FT) 10 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots. Jakim Ricketts also had 18 points (6-17 FG, 2-9 3's, 4-7 FT) and 4 assists. The Pioneers fell to 10-7 on the season and 9-7 in league play. MCC will travel to rival Dawson on Sunday for a 4:00 PM game.
