Pioneers Get Home Win vs. Bismarck State

Remy Lemovou (6'8 Sophomore, Wichita, Kansas) scored 24 points (11-14 FG, 2-10 FT), grabbed 14 rebounds (2 off) and had 3 blocks to lead 5 players in double figures as the Pioneers won for the 5th time in the last 6 games with a 94-82 win over Bismarck State in Miles City. Dylan Hushaw (6'2  Sophmore Guard, Las Vegas)rebounded from a poor shooting game on Saturday connecting for 25 points (8-18 FG, 5-12 3's, 4-4 FT) to go along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists as the Pioneers moved to 6-5 overall (5-5 MonDak Conference). Favour Chukwukelu (6'2 Sophomore, Las Vegas) hit for 19 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3's. 2-2 FT) and snagged 7 rebounds and 4 assists on the night. Jakim Ricketts (6'2 Sophomore, Livingston, MT) had 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-9 3's) and added 6 assists while Eli Habighorst (6'1 Freshman, Las Vegas) directed traffic with 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 FT), 9 assists, and 5 rebounds.

The Pioneers shot 51% (36-70) from the field and 44% (12-27) from the 3-point line and outrebounded the bigger Mystics 42-38. The Pioneers also assisted on 23 of their 36 field goals made. The lone black mark on the game for the Pioneers was a 10-20 effort from the free throw line. 

Cobe Begger (6'6 Sophomore) had a big game for the Mystics accounting for 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-2 FT) and corralled 9 rebounds. Jerrick Baines (6'0 Guard) added 18 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3's, 5-6 FT's) and 6 assist for the 3-7 Mystics. Jamison Kramer (6'5 Sophomore Guard) added 12 points and Garrick Baines (6'0 Guard) added 11 points. 

Next up for MCC is a trip to Bismarck to face United Tribes Technical College on Thursday night at 6:30 PM MST.
