MCC Pioneer freshman Ebele Mbagwu has been named MonDak Conference player of the week for the opening week of conference play. In a 84-65 win over Dawson CC, Mbagwu scored 28 points (12-13 FG, 4-6 FT), pulled down 12 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and also came up with 9 steals in a stellar performance. Mbagwu is from Stockdale High School in Bakersfield, California.
