Pioneers 27... NDSCS Wildcats 80

The MCC Pioneers shot a paltry 14.8% (8-54) from the field and connected on only 2-18 (11%) from the 3 point line and the NDSCS Wildcats outscored the Pioneers 47-6 over the 2nd and 3rd quarters as the Pioneers dropped their 2024-25 season opener 80-27 at 4 Bears Event Center in New Town, ND. 

The 1st quarter had plenty of scoring as NDSCS led 24-14 after one. The Pioneers then found a lid on the basket over the next 2 quarters and not scoring for over a 10-minute stretch. 

Gracie Anderson (Harlowton, MT) led the Pioneers in scoring with 8 points (2-5 FG, 4-5 FT) and Skyler Neumann (Fallon, MT) had a team high 8 rebounds. 

The Pioneers will play Dakota College at Bottineau on Saturday at 11:00 AM MDT.
