(Miles City, MT) The Pioneers faced in-state rival, Dawson Community College in the Semifinal game of the Region XIII Tournament.  The game was never in question, as the Pioneer got out to an early lead and outscored the Bucs, 32-11, in the first quarter of play.  The Pioneer defense forced 28 turnovers and scored 42 points off of those turnovers.   MCC ran away with the victory, 77-46.

Patrycja Jaworska led the Pioneers in scoring with 22, followed by Claire Borot with 10.  Lucia Salazar pulled down five boards to lead the team.  Bre Moea'i led with four assists and four steals.

"It was a good victory for our team.  We came out with the right energy and effort and stuck to our game plan," commented head coach Nate Vogel after the victory.

The Pioneers will face Bismarck State College in the Region XIII Conference Championship game on Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 pm in the Kailey Gymnasium.
