Three Pioneer Baseball Players Earn All MonDak Conference Honors

Three Miles Community College baseball players were awarded All MonDak Conference honors as announced by the league on Monday. 

Chance Descalchuk, Ethan Forrest, and Tanner Hagar were awarded 1st Team All-Conference. 

Descalchuk (Freshman - DH/3B - Regina, Saskatchewan) led the MonDak Conference in batting average for the 2026 season. Descalchuk was 57-126 (.452) at the plate with 14 home runs (2nd) and 64 RBI's (3rd). Descalchuk's RBI total came in 41 games which was 18 games fewer than the league leader (69) and his home run total was in 13 fewer games than the league leader (18). His slugging % was .889 (1st) and had an on base % of .545 (2nd). 

Forrest (Sophomore - LF - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) batted .383 (41-107) in 34 games played. Forrest had 4 home runs and 6 doubles to go along with 41 RBI. His on base % was .473. He had 11 stolen bases and 21 walks for the seaon. A mainstay in left field, Forrest had only 1 error on the season. 

Hagar (Freshman - P - Casper, WY) had a 6-2 record on the season making 10 starts. He had a 5.36 ERA in 47 innings pitched. Hagar gave up 46 hits, 36 runs, and 28 earned runs. He walked 17 batters and struck out 43. 

The Pioneers finished the season with a 30-20 record.
