Game 1 - Pioneers 2... Dawson CC 3
Dawson CC pitcher Jason Jones was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th inning to drive in the winning run as Dawson edged the Pioneers 3-2 in Glendive on Monday afternoon.
Dawson got on the board 1st with 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. DCC got the 2 runs on a passed ball and a Pioneer error.
MCC tied the game in the top of the 6th inning as Raymond Shawver (RF - Miles City, MT) walked with one out and Liam Sullivan (CF - Great Falls, MT) singled with 2 outs. Pioneer designated hitter Chance Descalchuk (Regina, Saskatchewan) tripled to drive in 2 runs and tie the score.

The MCC Pioneers salvaged a split by rallying from a quick 0-2 hole and held Dawson scoreless for the final 6 innings in a 4-2 win in game 2.

The Pioneers cut the lead in half with a run in the top of the 3rd inning. MCC got 3 consecutive singles from Chase Carnahan (2B - Fallon, NV), Liam Sullivan, and Chance Descalchuk with one out in the inning. Ethan Forrest (LF - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) drove one in with a sacrifice fly. The Pioneers tied the game in the 4th inning when Karter Scott (DH - Regina, Saskatchewan) singled and Dane Gilbert (1B - Monument, CO) doubled to put runners on 2nd and 3rd.
