Game 1 - Pioneers 9... Western Nebraska 14

Western Nebraska tallied 10 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning after trailing the MCC Pioneers 7-4 and picked up their only win of the 4-game series with a 14-9 win. 

The Pioneers collected 9 hits in the game led by a 3-3 (HR, 2B, 4 RBI, 3 R) effort from Coleman Parry (1B - American Fork, UT) and a 2-3 (HR, 3 RBI, R) showing from Tanner Goertz (LF - Highlands Ranch, CO). MCC scored a run in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 3rd, 4 in the 4th inning and 2 more in the 6th inning. 

Davis Mosier (Billings, MT) got the start on the mound and pitched 4.1 innings (9 H, 8 R, 5 ER, 2 SO) before being replaced by Sam Hall (Eureka, MT) who pitched 0.1 innings (2 H, 6 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, SO). Colin Fortier (American Fork, UT) finished the final 1.1 innings (2 H, BB, SO).

The MCC Pioneers took offense to losing their 1st game of the season and took it out on Cougar pitching in game 4 by tallying multiple runs in all 5 innings. 

Lance Bratlien (RF - Helena, MT) and Davis Mosier (3B) had the hot bats in this game as both players connected for 2 home runs each and Bratlien had 5 RBI while Mosier had 6. Bratlien scored twice and Mosier scored 3 times.  Bohden Bahnmiller (SS - Helena, MT) was 2-3 (3B) at the plate knocking in 2 RBI and scoring 4 times. Coleman Parry was also 2-4 (3B) at the plate and scored 3 runs. Brady Bickett (CF - Rapid City, SD) added 2 hits as did Luke Thorne (2B - Missoula, MT).

Keenan Kraft (Belgrade, MT) got the start for the Pioneers and pitched 3 innings (4 H, 3 R, 3 BB, SO) before being replaced by Mason Manning (Sheridan, WY) for 1.1 innings (5 H, 5 R, 2 BB, SO). Brandon Hegedus (Littleton, MT) closed out the final 0.2 innings (H, R, ER, BB).
