Five MCC Pioneer baseball players have earned All MonDak Conference honors as well as All Region XIII honors. These awards are voted on by the coaches of the conference and region.
The Pioneers finished the season as the MonDak Conference champions and were the runner-up for Region XIII with a 37-14 record.
Takumi Kimoto (Sophomore, Catcher - Brisbane, Australia) - Kimoto batted .377 (43-114) for the season with 12 doubles, 7 home runs and a team high 54 RBI. He had a team high in slugging percentage (.667). Kimoto had only 3 errors from the catcher position with a fielding percentage of .987.
Jaeden Jordahl (Sophomore, Shortstop - Billings, Montana) - Jordahl batted .355 (39-110) for the season with 10 doubles, 1 triple, and 5 home runs. Jordahl also walked 32 times and was hit by pitch 18 times for an on base percentage of .556. His 35 stolen bases were tied for team high. Hit fielding percentage from the shortstop position was .902.
Tommy O'Connell (Sophomore, Designated Hitter - Kalispell, MT) - O'Connell batted .331 (39-118) for the season with 6 doubles, 11 home runs, and 46 RBI. His slugging percentage was .661 and an on base percentage of .470.
Grant Gabbert (Sophomore, Leftfield - Thorton, Colorado) - Gabbert batted .381 (48-126) for the season with 12 doubles, 4 triples, and 2 home runs. His slugging percentage was .587 and he also had 35 stolen bases. He committed only one error on the season with a .979 fielding percentage.
Jeremy Gee (Sophomore, Pitcher - Brigham City, Utah) - Gee made 11 appearances on the season with a 7-2 record. He had a 4.47 ERA in 56.1 innings pitched. The opponents batting average against Gee was .197. Gee tabbed a team high 51 strikeouts to only 19 walks allowed.
