1B Dawson Parry went 3-3 including 2 home runs and 6 RBI to propel the Pioneers to a 5-inning 19-0 win in game 4 of the weekend series against the NDSCS Wildcats. The teams battled cold, blustery conditions and the Pioneers seemed unphased by the conditions by pounding 14 hits and scoring 19 runs.
SS Brayden Howard was 2-2 at the plate including a double and scored 3 times while 3B Thomas Martin came up with a pinch hit 3-run home run in the top of the 4th inning to assist the offensive onslaught. C Jayden Webster was 2-3 with and RBI and a walk as well.
Grayson Skinner pitched 4 innings giving up only 4 hits and striking out 3 before giving way to Chase Linn to finish things off striking out 2 in his inning of work.
The Pioneers move to 28-11 overall and 10-2 in MonDak Conference play and will travel to league leading Dawson on Wednesday for a doubleheader.
