Game 1... MCC 4 - Briggs & Stratton 2

Keith Manby cracked a 2-run blast in the first inning and MCC added another run in the first and held on late to preserve a 4-2 win in Tucson, AZ. The low scoring affair saw MCC strike early and the bats from B & S just couldn't get anything going against Pioneer starter Grayson Skinner. Skinner gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and strikng out 8 in 6.2 innings pitched. Tim Holyk and Keith Mandy were the only 2 Pioneers with mulitple hits. 

Game 2... MCC 13 - Hibbing CC 2

MCC pumped in 8 runs in the 6th inning to pull away from a competitive contest as the Pioneers moved to 10-1 with a 13-2 win over Hibbing CC. Dawson Parry went 2-4 with 3 RBI and Keith Mandy was 1-2 with 4 RBI. The Pioneers scored 10 runs on 10 hits. 

Jay Neugebauer tossed a gem as he went 5 innings and gave up 2 runs on 2 hits with 8 strikeouts. The Pioneers are now 10-1 on the season.
