The Dawson CC Buccaneers took 2 walk off wins over the MCC Pioneers on Monday afternoon in Glendive. 

Game 1 - Pioneers 1... Dawson 2

Dawson CC got a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning to edge by the MCC Pioneers 2-1 in a pitchers dual.

Runs were tough to come by in this game as Dawson got a run in the bottom of the 2nd inning only to see the Pioneers tie the game in the top of the 3rd on a solo home run from Brooke Schaffer (3B - Missoula, MT). The game stayed tied 1-1 until the bottom of the 7th inning. The Bucs strung together 3 consecutive singles in the bottom of the 7th to edge the Pioneers. 

Schaffer was the only Pioneer with 2 hits in the game. 

Rylynn Krein (Fergus Falls, MN) took the loss in the circle pitching 7 innings (8 H, 2 R, BB, 3 SO).

Game 2 - Pioneers 9... Dawson CC 10

Demi Choate hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 7th inning for the Buccaneers only lead of the game in a 10-9 victory to sweep two Monday games in walk-off fashion. 

The Pioneers got off to a hot start by scoring 2 runs in the top of the 1st inning. Malory Webb (SS - Idaho Falls, ID) drew a walk to lead off the game and with one out, Rylynn Krein walked. Brooke Schaffer was hit by a pitch to load up the bases. Webb was thrown out at home to give the Pioneers 2 outs and Krein scored on a fielder's choice off the bat of Liz Cunningham (RF - Polson, MT). Schaffer then scored on a fielder's choice for a 2-0 lead. 

Dawson picked up a run in the bottom of the inning to cut the lead in half. MCC got a run in the top of the 2nd inning on a RBI single from Krein. The score stayed 3-1 until the 5th inning when MCCbult the lead to 7-1 with a 4-run inning. Rhanda Vindiola (LF - Columbus, MT) was hit by a pitch and Ava Lund (C - Belgrade, MT) smacked a 2-run home run. With 2 outs, Emily Robins (CF - Rexburg, ID) singled and Krein followed with a RBI double. Schaffer drove Krein in with a single and the Pioneers had a 6-run lead. 

DCC answered with 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th but the Pioneers took a 9-6 lead with 2 runs in the 6th. Brylee Lowell (PH - Columbus, MT) walked and Webb knocked a 2-run homer to right field. In the bottom of the 7th, Dawson had a single, a walk, a RBI single, and a 3-run home run. 

Krein was 3-4 at the plate with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Webb was 2-3 (2 RBI, 2 R, 2 BB) and Robins was 2-5 (R). Schaffer was 2-3 (RBI, R) and Paityn Ralphs (2B - Ammon, ID) was 2-4. 

Harley Brown (Great Falls, MT) started game 2 and pitched 4.2 innings (8 H, 6 R, BB, SO). Krein pitched the final 1.1 innings (4 H, 4 R, BB, 3 SO).

The Pioneers are now 16-14 overall and 4-2 in MonDak Conference play. The teams will play another doubleheader on Tuesday in Miles City with 1st pitch being thrown at 1:00 PM.
