Game 1 - Pioneers 4... Iowa Central 14 (5 Innings)
The always tough Iowa Central Tritons limited the MCC Pioneers to 3 hits and broke open a 4-4 tie after the third inning with 5 runs in the 4th and 5 more in the 5th to end the game under the softball mercy rule.
Iowa Central got on the board in the top of the 1st with 1 run. MCC was able to grab the lead after one inning by scoring 2 in the bottom of the 1st. Malory Webb (SS - Idaho Falls, ID) scored on a Triton error and Elizabeth Cunningham (RF - Polson, MT) knocked a RBI single that drove in Brooke Schaffer (3B - Missoula, MT).
Iowa Central got 3 runs in the top of the 3rd inning to take a 4-2 lead but MCC answered with 2 more in the bottom of the inning to tie the game. Emily Robins (CF - Rexburg, ID) scored on a Schaffer sacrifice fly and Cunningham picked up here 2nd RBI of the game on a sincle to centerfield. Cunningham had 2 of the 3 Pioneer hits. Brylee Lowell (LF - Columbus, MT) had the other Pioneer hit.
Rylynn Krein (Fergus Falls, MN) started the game and pitched 4.1 innings (11 H, 11 R, 10 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO) and Harley Brown finished the final 0.2 innings (5 H, 3 R).

Game 2 - Pioneers ... Williston State
A classic pitchers dual broke out in the final game of the MCC Pioneer spring break trip to Cocoa Beach, FL. For 5 full innings, neither team was able to push across a run as the Pioneers and Tetons went to the 6th inning tied 0-0.
The Pioneers were able to post 2 runs in the 6th thanks to 4 Teton errors in the inning and MCC held a 2-0 lead without having a base hit in the game. Williston scored 1 run in the bottom of the 6th inning to close the gap to 2-1. MCC got a run in the top of the 7th on a RBI single off the bat of Paityn Ralphs (1B - Ammon, ID) to head to the bottom of the 7th inning with a 3-1 lead.
Williston State was able to get baserunners off of a single, an infield single, and a MCC error. This all led to a walkoff single that sent MCC back to Miles City, MT with a 4-3 loss.
Brylee Lowell (CF - Columbus, MT), Brooke Schaffer (3B - Missoula, MT) and Ralphs had the 3 base hits in the game for MCC.
