MCC Pioneer Rodeo athletes Josie Menzel (Philip, SD) and Weston LaPierre (Killdeer, ND) took their 1st runs at the CNFR on Monday in Casper, WY. 

Menzel finished with a time of 6.5 seconds in Goat Tying which was good for at tie for 17th place. The leader came in with a time of 5.8 seconds. Menzel will run Go 2 in the slack session on Tuesday at the Ford Center. 

LaPierre finished with a time of 18.6 seconds in Tie Down Roping which was good for 25th place. The leader finished with a time of 8.4 seconds. LaPierre will run Go 2 in the slack session on Tuesday at the Ford Center.
