Pioneers End Fall Rodeo Season In Havre

The 2020 Big Sky Region Rodeo season came to a close last weekend at the MSU-Northern Rodeo in Havre. 

The Pioneer men finished in 7th place with a team total of 150 points. UM-Western was the men's team champion. 

Cruz McNulty (Biggar, Saskatchewan) continued his strong year with another 2nd place finish in the Bareback with a score of 120. 

The Pioneers also got points from team ropers Daylon Danks (Mandaree, ND) and Edward Murnion (Jordan, MT) finished in 8th place in Havre. 

Current standings show the Pioneers in 4th placein the Big Sky Region after the fall season with 867 points. Montana State leads with 2,681 points. McNulty is 2nd place in Bareback with 707 and is just behind UM-Western's Brody Smith at 725.

Danks is 10th in Tie Down roping. 

The Pioneer Women's Rodeo team did not score at the MSU-Northern Rodeo in Havre. 

They currently sit in 6th place in the Big Sky Region with 50 points.
