Colstrip Standout Athlete Ashtynn Egan to Play Volleyball at MCC

Colstrip High School's Ashtynn Egan has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Miles Community College. 3-sport letter winner Egan will bring a strong athletic skill set to the Pioneer roster. Egan has lettered in volleyball, basketball, and softball all 4 years of her high school career. She is a 3-time all-conference selection for Colstrip High and honorable mention all-state her senior season.

Egan led the conference in kills (484) and digs (544) her senior season and also contributed 62 aces. She tallied over 1,000 digs during her high school career as the Fillies finished 4th place at the State B tournament both her sophmore and senior seasons and was coached by her mother Kami Egan. They were 3-time district champions as well. Egan was also part of the State B Championship basketball team at Colstrip High School last season.

Why Egan chose MCC: "I chose Miles because I like the smaller class sizes and the fact that it is close to home. I'm excited about Robin Cusimano being back at MCC and am looking forward to being coached by her and having her help elevate my play at the next level. When I went on my visit to MCC, it just felt like the right fit for me. I loved the energy and passion Coach Cusimano shared about the future of the program!"
