(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Softball team has announced that Taylor Woolley will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.
Woolley is a 5'6" pitcher from Post Falls, Idaho. She attends high school at Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Idaho.
Taylor was MVP as a pitcher in 2016, along with New Comer of the Year in 2017. In 2018, she was All-League Pitcher and MVP Pitcher. Woolley was also named Athlete of the Week and a member of the District Champion Team in 2019.
Taylor is the daughter of Trina Woolley of Round Mountain, California and Steve Woolley of Redding, California. She is planning to pursue a general degree while at MCC and then majoring in architecture.
Woolley on attending MCC: "I chose Miles because I played for Shawna in the fall and I thought that if I didn't try college ball I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. A lot of people don't usually go to college and have a good relationship with the coach, so I was fortunate enough to know her."
Coach Juarez on Woolley: "Having the luxury of previously coaching Taylor, I am extremely thankful that she has chosen to play softball at MCC. Taylor is a very talented softball player and even better human. Taylor comes to our program being heavily recruited by other schools. She has accomplished many great things on the softball field and will continue to do so being a Pioneer. We are beyond jazzed to have her! Welcome aboard Taylor!"
