(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Softball team has announced that Janie Nelson will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.  

Nelson is a 5'6" Outfielder/Catcher from Tetonia, Idaho.  She attends and plays high school softball at Teton High School in Driggs, Idaho.  Janie had a 2018 batting average of .571, an OBP of .640, and a SLG of .857.

Janie is the daughter of Justin and Rachel Nelson of Tetonia, Idaho.  She is planning to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.    

Nelson on attending MCC: "I am super excited to play softball at MCC. The coaches are awesome as well as the community. I am excited to become a better person and player as a Pioneer."
