(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Softball team has announced that Josie Chapweske will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.
Chapweske is a 2nd basemen from Miles City, Montana. She attends and plays high school softball at Custer County District High School in Miles City, MT.
Josie was All-Conference Honorable Mention in softball her senior year. She was Academic All-State in the winter of 2016-2017 and Fall 2017-2018. In 2017 and 2018 she was a member of the Divisional Championship softball team.
Josie is the daughter of Dan and Tonya Chapweske of Miles City, Montana. While at MCC, Chapweske plans to complete an Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
Chapweske on attending MCC: "MCC is very close to home and offers everything I need from a college. I am very excited to be able to play volleyball and softball as a Pioneer. The coaching staff is amazing and has been super friendly. I am very honored to be able to play on the first ever Lady Pioneer softball team. "

We are very happy to have Josie's vibrant personality, excellent work ethic, and eagerness to enhance all facets of her game. We firmly believe that she will fit in very well and represent herself in such a good manner, as both a student and an athlete for MCC. We are thankful that she chose to stay in Miles City and be a Pioneer!"
