(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Softball team has announced that Lili Nihi will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.

Nihi is a 1st basemen and shortstop from Honolulu, HI.  She attends high school at Moanalua High School in Honolulu, HI.

Lili lettered in softball all 4 years of high school and is currently a varsity starter.  She was chosen for the All League Awards in 2016/2017.  In 2016, Lili was a member of the 1st place OIE East team and in 2018 a member of the 3rd place OIE East team.

Nihi is the daughter of Rachel and Jared Nihi of Honolulu, HI.  While at MCC, Lili plans to work towards her ultimate goal of being an athletic trainer.

Nihi on attending MCC: "I wanted to pursue my softball career after high school and MCC has given me this opportunity.  Also, MCC will prepare me educationally to transfer to another institution to gain my Bachelor's Degree."

Coach Juarez on Nihi: "I am entirely thankful that Lili has decided to come to MCC.  Communicating with both Lili and her recruiting coordinator Mahina Turner, I believe that Lili will provide numerous great assets to both our softball program and our academic institution.  I am thankful that she trusts our vision and mission enough to come all the way from Hawaii.  We are excited that she will be part of our OHANA!"
