(Miles City, MT) The Miles Community College Baseball team has announced that Kole Lohrke will be joining the Pioneers for the 2019-2020 season.

Lohrke is a 6'1" right-handed pitcher from Miles City, MT.  He attends Custer County District High School in Miles City, MT.

Last season, Kole had a batting average of .364 and a GBP of .632.  He is also a very good tennis player, named All-Around Cowboy (MVP) for tennis in 2018.

Kole is the son of Kris Lohrke and Angie Lohrke of Miles City, MT.

Lohrke on attending MCC: "MCC is in my hometown and I have heard a lot of good things about the program.  I've known Coach Brabant for a while now and he's a good coach and a great guy."

Coach Brabant on Lohrke: "Kole is all arms, levers and elbows.  There is so much potential in this guy and we feel that when we get him into our program he will explode.  His ceiling is absolutely tremendous and his growth in our day to day dynamic work will be a key to his success.  Kole is a hard worker and pays attention to detail, which makes him very coachable.  He is eager to learn and improve.  All of this makes Kole a perfect fit for us and the direction we need to go as a program, team and individuals.  Kole will be a big factor for us when it is all said and done.  We are excited to watch Kole progress and have him in our program."
