In his 2018 season, Harper had a 1.615 ERA and a 4-0 record on the mound.  Deklan's batting average was .394 with an OBP of .532.

Deklan is the son of Shannon and Julie Harper of Billings, MT.

Deklan is undecided about his future career path, but will be working on his generals while at MCC.

Harper on attending MCC: "Coach Brabant really made me feel like part of the family, even before I decided to go to MCC.  I have several close friends that have played for MCC and they have great things to say about the program and Coach Brabant.  I'm excited to become a part of it."

Coach Brabant on Harper: "We have another great Laurel product coming from Coach Studiner...could not be happier to continue our relationships with exceptional programs in Montana!  Deklan is a great athlete and he is a tremendous get for us this late in the process.  He is a five-tool guy with a very high ceiling and will be a presence on the mound for us.  I'm excited to get him going in our training to see how high that ceiling can go."
