Miles Community College baseball coach Mike O'Connell has announced the 2025 inductees to the Pioneer Baseball Hall of Fame. Former Pioneer head coaches Rob Bishop and Jeff Brabant are the selected inductees for the ceremony to be held on September 6th at the Miles City Town and Country Club. Rob Bishop started the Pioneer baseball program in the summer of 2000 and was the head coach from 2000-2010. His overall record at MCC was 377-151 and included 10 consecutive MonDak regular season titles and the Pioneers won 30+ games every season and won 40+ games 4 times. The Pioneers qualified for the 2007 NJCAA DII World Series and was the only trip to the world series in program history. Bishop has 723 overall wins as a head coach that has now included stops at MSU-Billings and South Dakota State.
Bishop is married to Janelle Bishop and has daugter Anna and son Andrew.
Jeff Brabant was an assistant coach to Bishop from 2002-2010 and took over the head coaching duties from 2010-2023. Brabant has 352 career wins and a .768 winning percentage. The Pioneers won 6 MonDak Conference championships during his tenure and he was part of 16 titles as assistant and head coach.
Brabant is married to Rachael Brabant and has son Logan and daugter Brookelyn.
